2. In the first section (Details of Applicant), fill in the name of the applicant and their designation, business name, and contact details including postal and physical addresses, telephone number, fax number, and email address. If the applicant is not a Kenyan citizen, provide complete contact information from the country of residence.
3. Provide relevant qualifications under the ‘Relevant Qualifications’ section, detailing the academic and professional training. Subsequently, list the relevant experience in wildlife handling, including species you have worked with.
4. Indicate the type of wildlife utilization being applied for by ticking the appropriate boxes such as captive breeding or harvesting from the wild. Include other types if needed.
5. List the species for which the application is being made, providing both common and scientific names, and specify the quantities of males and females required. Also, indicate the expected source of the initial stock with justifications.
6. In Part II, provide the business name, including whether it is registered and attach the relevant certificate if available.
7. Fill out land ownership details by providing the name of the landowner and their contact details, alongside land tenure information including lease type and period.
8. Provide information about the land, including its size, location, climate, topography, existing land uses, and submit a sketch plan for the proposed operation.
9. In the facility infrastructure section, describe the structures that will be built, including enclosures and their design, number and distribution, and the care and handling of animals.
10. Complete the wildlife business plan by providing a proposed project budget, source of capital, and projected revenue for five years.
11. Once all sections are completed, review your information thoroughly to ensure accuracy. Save any changes made to your application form for your records, and use the options to download, print, or share the completed application as necessary.
