- Navigate to the Events tab and select the Events option.

- Select an Event Type from the available list to categorize the event.
- Select a primary Contact for the event from the list of contacts.
- Enter an Estimated Attendance number to help plan the event.
- Optionally, check a box to designate the event as Private or Featured depending on your needs.
- In the Meetings section of the form, click Add Meeting to schedule a meeting related to the event.
- Enter a Meeting Name if it differs from the event name; otherwise, it will be populated automatically.
- Select a Meeting Type from the list; this will also auto-populate based on your previous selection.
- Input a Max Attendance number for the meeting if it differs from the event record; this informs your room search.
- If no room assignment is required for the meeting, remove the Room Required selection to allow completion without a room.
- Enter the dates and times for the meeting, specifying any recurrence information if applicable.
- Add any relevant notes that need to accompany the meeting(s).
- Click Add Meeting(s) to include your meeting(s) in the meeting list on the right side of the form.
- Repeat the steps as necessary to build a comprehensive list of all additional meetings you wish to schedule.
- Once all meetings are added, click Save to preserve your event information.
- In the Meetings section, check the box next to each meeting to which you wish to assign a room.
- Click Assign Selected to continue with the room assignment process.
- If needed, select a saved filter from the drop-down list to refine your search for available rooms.
- Optionally, click Edit Filter to modify the criteria, then click Search Rooms to view your options.
- If new filter settings were chosen, click Save Filter to retain these parameters for future use.
- Provide a name for the saved filter in the Manage Filters panel and select the box to ‘Set as Default’ if desired, then click Save.
- Click on the cell under each meeting corresponding to the desired room(s) you would like to schedule.
- Click Assign to confirm the room bookings.
- Enter any notes or comments pertaining to the event for future reference.
- If you wish to notify attendees, click Send Event Summary, adding any comments or additional email addresses as needed.
- Click Send to finalize the notification.
- This will return you to the previous screen. Click Save to complete the event setup process.
