If you GAP a course, the grade of D or F is excluded from your overall GPA resulting in an “adjusted GPA” The original grade still appears on your Auburn transcript. If the course is required for your degree program, you must repeat it at Auburn.

An A equals 4.0; B, 3.0; C, 2.0; D, 1.0; and F equals 0.0. Only course work attempted at Auburn University is used in determining the grade report average and continuation-in-residence requirements.

Students may drop courses online through the withdrawal date of each respective term with no academic penalty. Should students need to drop a course after the withdrawal date, permission must be granted. A drop after the withdrawal date will only be granted when extenuating circumstances exist.

The acceptance rate at Auburn is 43.7%. In other words, of 100 students who apply, 44 are admitted. This means the school is somewhat selective. You should prepare your academic scores well, but you have an excellent chance if you impress them.
