  6. If the employee holds multiple jobs, a table will appear listing each job. Select the appropriate job by clicking the Select column next to it.
  7. On the Demotion screen, the CURRENT section fields will auto-populate with the employee’s most recent employment data. These fields are not editable.
  8. Fill in the required fields: Appointment Type, Title Code, Compensation Method, Request Reason Code, and Essential Employee. Note that additional fields may become necessary based on the Appointment Type chosen.
  9. Complete further required sections based on the Appointment Type and reason for demotion as detailed in the document. Make sure to review each field carefully for accuracy.
  10. Once all necessary fields are filled out, choose one of the following options: 'SUBMIT' to validate and submit the data, 'SAVE' to keep the transaction as incomplete for later review, or 'CANCEL' to discard the transaction.
