Employee is a resident of a state with which Wisconsin has a reciprocity agreement. Wisconsin currently has reciprocity agreements with Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Michigan. ¶15-535, Personal Exemptions Stats. ): The personal exemptions are $700 for individuals, their spouses, and dependents, and an additional $250 for taxpayers and their spouses (if filing a joint return) who have reached the age of 65 before the close of the taxable year.

A fully completed certificate must include (1) the complete name and address of the purchaser, (2) general description of the purchaser's business (type of business), (3) reason for exemption, and (4) signature of purchaser unless the certificate is received electronically.
