Oklahoma residents are required to file an Oklahoma income tax return when they have enough income that they must file a federal income tax return. Nonresidents are also required to file an Oklahoma income tax return if they have at least $1,000 of income from an Oklahoma employer or other source.

Requirement to Make Withholding Payments Section 2385.30 requires a PTE to withhold income tax at the rate of 5% on each nonresident member's share of distributed Oklahoma income. A PTE is not required to withhold income tax for any nonresident member who submits a Nonresident Member Withholding Exemption Affidavit.

Non-residents: If you have gross income from Oklahoma sources of $1,000 or more you are required to file an Oklahoma return, unless otherwise provided for in the Pass-Through Entity Tax Equity Act of 2019. You are allowed $1,000 per exemption.

Generally, you must file an income tax return if you're a resident , part-year resident, or nonresident and: Are required to file a federal return. Receive income from a source in California. Have income above a certain amount.

The 2022 Oklahoma standard deduction is $6,350 for single filers or married persons filing separately and $12,700 for married persons filing jointly. Oklahoma also has a personal exemption of $1,000 for each filer, with additional exemptions available for each dependent listed by the filer.

The state of Oklahoma requires you to pay taxes if you're a resident or nonresident that receives income from an Oklahoma source.

A Form 500-B must be completed for each nonresident member to whom the pass-through entity has made an Oklahoma taxable distribution and paid withholding to Oklahoma. Form 500-B should not report withholding paid by sources other than the pass-through entity.
