Yosemite is the state's most-visited national park, with 3.3 million visitors in 2021.

By expanding funding for innovative programs, amenities, and resources, Parks California works to improve park experiences for all visitors while protecting the natural diversity of our 280 state parks.

For most of our parks, there is a 30-night maximum stay limit per customer in a calendar year; please check individual park policy limits. Creating multiple user IDs to bypass the 30-night rule is not acceptable. Reservations made under individual unique multiple user IDs will not be honored.

At most parks, Day Use Fees are charged for vehicle day use only. There is no charge to walk or bike into these parks. Most historical parks and museums charge a Day Use Fee per person.

Annual passes are available for purchase via our online store and in-person at many locations throughout the State Parks System. They are also available for purchase at most District and Sector offices and many park units.
