If appointing a new custodian, the signature of the previous custodian, a death certificate, or an official court document must be provided. If the former minor's legal name has changed, please provide the previous and new names where indicated.

Under the regulations, custodians must meet obligations such as providing regular reports to clients and getting assurance reports from qualified auditors, among others.

Custodian Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition. Performs routine maintenance activities. Performs heavy cleaning duties. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors. Gathers and empties trash. Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities. Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.

The difference between janitor and custodian positions is that a custodian's job is more consistent and overarching than that of a janitor. While a janitor reports for shift work at a specific time to clean designated areas, a custodian's job description entails the general upkeep of a property or facility.

Custodial Transfer means the transfer from Custodian to Buyer of custody of the Accounts, together with the transfer from Custodian to Buyer (or its designee) of the Account Assets held therein.

Under the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act (UTMA) and Uniform Gifts to Minors Act (UGMA), a “custodian” is a person named to manage property left or given to a child under the terms of either of those Acts. The custodian manages the property until the child reaches the age specified by state law - 21, in most states.

A Custodian, or Caretaker, is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of a building and the surrounding grounds. Their duties include vacuuming floors, sanitizing restroom facilities and collecting trash to ensure the building's occupants have a clean space.
