We hold our beliefs regarding the nature and character of God, the person and work of Jesus Christ, the need for salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone, and the authority and reliability of Scripture as primary doctrine.

Since that first confession of faith, Baptists have used confessions to distinguish themselves one from another. Berean does not subscribe to a particular confession of faith. It has its own covenant and articles of faith.

Berean Baptist Academy's core values are God-like love, absolute truth, moral excellence, and unity of the Spirit. Each value helps Christians to respect people as image bearers of God and to seek their reconciliation with God. Absolute Truth is the basis of honesty and integrity.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and that he is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.

For Berean Baptist Church, baptism is a celebration of the mighty work God has done in the hearts and lives of children and adults who have been brought to repentance and faith in Christ. As one is baptized, they are confessing Christ as Savior and Lord. We rejoice in this testimony as the fruit of salvation.

We believe that all men are born in sin. We believe in the Incarnation, the Virgin Birth, and the Deity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe in the vicarious and substitutional atonement for the sins of mankind by the shedding of His blood on the cross.

We believe in one God, existing in a unity of three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – who are coequal, coeternal, and consubstantial. He is the Creator of all things, holy, sovereign, loving, and infinitely perfect in every way.
