This adjudication is assigned by the overall score a routine receives based on the following point system: PLATINUM: 300-285. ELITE HIGH GOLD: 284.9-270. HIGH GOLD: 269.9-255. GOLD: 254.9-240. SILVER: 239.9-225. BRONZE: 224.9-210.

Pro-Am Awards and Scholarships The top three competitors in all scholarship/championship events in each style and the top three competitors based on overall results and entries throughout the entire competition will be awarded prize money. Finalists in Bronze through Gold events will receive ribbons.

What is Pro-Am? Pro-Am competition is a category in DanceSport where the amateur students partner with a professional dancer, similar to what you see on “Dancing With The Stars.” In these events only the amateur is judged, leaving the professional free to concentrate on helping you look and dance your best!

Dancers between the ages of five and nineteen are awarded to recognize excellence in dance. TDA is widely regarded as a prestigious award presented for dance in the US, and is considered to be one of the toughest competitions internationally for young pre-professional dancers.
