Get Peshawar Bar Council

Candidates need to visit the council premises in person for enrollment. Enrolment forms can be obtained between 10 am - 1 pm on all working days. The candidate may visit the council premises in person and collect and submit the enrollment form. Enrollment forms can be obtained from the Bar Council office.

B in Pakistan a person can get himself enrolled in the Bar Council. The enrolment as an advocate is subject to getting through the subjective type/ multiple choices of written examination within a period of 2½ years in four attempts, completion of six months apprenticeship and passing the viva voice examination.

For 2020, the annual fees are $325. This includes the membership dues ($300) and the Client Security Fund assessment ($25). The amount of the dues is established each October by the State Bar Council pursuant to the authority granted to the council by the General Assembly in NCGS §84-34.

Punjab Bar Council also sends one of its Member to Judicial Commission of Pakistan, who gives advice and vote for the appointment of Lahore High Court Judges. The council is the largest Provincial Bar Council in Pakistan with more than 100,000 advocates as its License holders.

The seven Bar Councils in Pakistan came into being as a result of enactment of Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act 1973. These Bar Councils regulate legal professionals across provincial, territorial and national level.
