Move On When Ready is Georgia's new dual enrollment program that allows high school students (9th – 12th grade) to earn college credit while working on their high school diploma. Move On When Ready replaces Accel, HOPE Grant for dual enrollment and the previous Move On When Ready program.

Georgia's Dual Enrollment funding program, administered by the Georgia Student Finance Commission, allows eligible high school students to take approved college courses at little or no cost. The approved courses are provided on the Dual Enrollment Course Directory on the GAfutures website.

Many states only offer dual credit classes to high school juniors and seniors. Three states require dual enrollment students to be at least a sophomore in high school, and 12 states require them to be at least a junior.

Georgia has created a singular program known as Dual Enrollment for students in grades 10-12 who qualify to participate. Students may enroll on a part-time or full-time basis as a Dual Enrollment student and take college courses at their high school or on a postsecondary campus.

3. Who is eligible to participate in Dual Enrollment? All high school students, enrolled in 9th – 12th grade (9th grade begins with Fall term) attending a public or private high school in Georgia or home study program operated in ance with O.C.G.A. 20-2-690(c) can participate in Dual Enrollment.
