The acceptance rate at ODU is 87%. For every 100 applicants, 87 are admitted. This means the school is lightly selective. The school will have their expected requirements for GPA and SAT/ACT scores.

Freshmen Early Action Admission Freshman applicants who submit the application for admission, fee, and all credentials by the early action deadline receive priority consideration and decision notification. Early action decisions are non-binding.

Undergraduate. Are you transferring to ODU for an undergraduate program? We can review your military credits with your JST/SMART Summary. You also may earn credit for many lower level requirements through CLEP and DANTES tests.

I just submitted my non-degree application, when will I receive a decision? Once a non-degree application is submitted, it will be processed and a decision email will be sent within one week. The email will include your student identification number and instructions for registering for classes.

The application portal is where you can check your application status, review, and complete all outstanding items. Once our office has received and processed all required items, your portal page will indicate a "100% Complete" status.

Freshman applicants who submit the application for admission, fee, and all credentials by the regular admission application deadline are reviewed and notified on a rolling basis.
