A Slow Pay motion stops a wage garnishment and allows you to pay off a judgment in payments smaller than 25% of your paycheck. However, the Slow Pay process only applies to wage garnishments. Rule 21 allows misjoinder and nonjoinder to be corrected at any stage of the action upon motion of any party or upon the initiative of the court, and removes misjoinder as a ground for dismissal of an action.

A single judge of the appellate court may entertain and may grant or deny any request for relief that under these rules may be sought by motion, except that a single judge may not dismiss or otherwise finally dispose of an appeal or other proceeding.

RULE 22. Any property or amount involved as to which the party seeking interpleader admits liability may, upon order of the court, be deposited with the court or otherwise preserved, or secured by bond in amount sufficient to assure payment of the liability admitted.
