Follow the steps to complete the Capital Access Financial System form online:
- Click ‘Get Form’ button to obtain the CAFS form and open it in the designated online platform.
 - Select the appropriate user type as 'Partner' in the Identity Information section.
 - Provide your contact information using your financial institution's details rather than personal information. Enter your Zip Code and then click 'Look Up Zip' to automatically fill in the city and state.
 - In the Contact Information section, enter your phone number, starting with numeric '1' in the first box.
 - In the Partner Information section, enter the HQ Location ID. Remember to use the Charter (Main) Location and avoid any branch locations.
 - If applicable, indicate that you are the authorizing official by checking the corresponding box. This should only be done if you are the first-time authorizing official at your institution.
 - In the Supervisor Information section, click 'lookup supervisor by email or first name/last name' to view and select from the available authorizing officials.
 - Complete the Verify Section and click ‘Submit’ to finalize your registration.
 - You will receive an email to verify your email address. Ensure you click the link within 48 hours to confirm.
 - After approval from your Authorizing Official and the SBA, you will receive a confirmation email at cls@sba.gov.
 - To request access to CAFS systems after your account is established, log in at the designated platform.
 - Click the person icon located in the top right corner and select 'Request Access to CAFS Systems'.
 - From the drop-down menu, select '7A Connect' and enter your Charter Location ID as previously provided.
 - Proceed through the folders—'Electronic Lending Origination,' 'Electronic Lending Servicing,' and 'Partner Information Management System' (PIMS)—checking the appropriate boxes and entering your HQ Location ID where required.
 - Finally, submit the request at the bottom of the page.
 - Await an email notification regarding the account update, noting this does not constitute immediate access approval.
 - For any issues with inactive accounts after logging in, contact the number provided or email cls@sba.gov with your details and HQ Location ID.
