NMC will not release non-directory information to the public or others who request it unless the College has an Education Record Release Form on file and/or a FERPA exception applies. EDUCATION RECORD RELEASE FORM The purpose of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act FERPA of 1974 is to assure all students including those attending an institution of postsecondary education access to their education records and to protect such individuals right to privacy by limiting the transferability of their records without their consent.
