This guide provides clear instructions on how to complete the CaneID registration online. Follow the steps outlined below to ensure a smooth application process.

Follow the steps to successfully register for your CaneID

1. Click the 'Get Form' button to access the registration form, and open it using your preferred online method.
2. Once the form is open, locate and select 'Register for a CaneID' to begin the process.
3. In the role selection dropdown, choose 'Other' to indicate your status.
4. Fill in the required personal information fields: First and Last Name, Date of Birth, and Email address.
5. Complete the address section by entering your Street Address, City, and Country. Once done, click 'Continue' to proceed.
6. Create a password that meets the specified requirements and confirm it in the next field before hitting 'Continue.'
7. Upon successful registration, your CaneID and UMID will be displayed on the screen. Ensure to record this information for future reference as you will need it to log into courses.
8. Click 'Continue' after noting down your CaneID and UMID. If you're registering for a course, proceed to the next step. If you're not, email your EMPLID and UMID to the appropriate address.
9. If registering for the New Urbanism Online course, follow the link provided to register and pay.
10. Complete the fields for registration which include UMID, Prefix, Full Name, Organization details, Address, City, State, Zip Code, and Email. Choose the appropriate lecture fee before clicking 'Continue.'
11. To finalize your registration payment, fill in the billing information, including Cardholder’s Name, Card Type, Credit Card Number, CVV Code, Expiration Date, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone, and Email. Click 'Continue' to submit.
12. You will receive confirmation of your registration both on screen and via email. If you are a member eligible for a refund, follow the provided instructions.
13. On the course access date, check your email for link and login instructions. Direct any questions to the provided email address.
