OSHA's regulation at 29 CFR 1904.35(b)(2) provides that employees, former employees, their personal representatives, and authorized employee representatives have the right to access the current OSHA 300 Log, as well as any stored OSHA 300 Log(s) for any establishment in which the employee or former employee has worked.

The OSHA 300 log is part of a federal requirement concerning safety in the workplace. OSHA Form 300A is the second page of the OSHA Form 300. The first page (Form 300) contains a log for work-related injuries and illnesses designed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Tips for Maintaining an OSHA 300 Log The information shall be posted within seven days after a recordable case has occurred. Employers must keep injury and illness records for each establishment.

Are all employers required to post OSHA Form 300A, the Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses? No. Certain industries are partially exempt from OSHA's record-keeping requirements.
