Revere Copper Products, Inc. traces its history back to the copper rolling mill that Paul Revere established on the banks of the Neponset River in Canton, Massachusetts in 1801. After Paul Revere died in 1818, his son and business partner Joseph Warren Revere ran the thriving mill until his death in 1868.

It's not true copper cookware so ignore my above post. Revere introduced the Paul Revere Ware line in 1967. Produced only at the Oneonta, AL plant, the copper/stainless steel material it used was made in-house using a high temperature, pressure-bonding process, not the traditional Revere electro-plating process.

A pioneer in the production of rolled copper, Revere became the first American to successfully roll this metal into sheets. This led to his 1801 founding of North America's first copper mill, just south of Boston where generations of Revere's descendants remained active in the business.

Revere Ware is considered a highly collectible brand of cookware, much like certain cast iron cookware brands. Like all collectibles, some pieces have become more desirable than others.

Brian O'Shaughnessy is chairman and principal owner of Revere Copper Products, the company founded in 1801 by Paul Revere.
