The 3822 is the Cadets Record of Achievement in which all future cadet- related activities will be recorded. It also acts as your pass to get into RAF bases. Cadet classifications The classifications provide a progressive syllabus of training for cadets. Cadets will go through a series of modules, from learning the basics of drill and radio, through to understanding rocketry and jet propulsion.

The Grob G 103A Twin II Acro, known as the Viking T.Mk 1 in service, is used by the Air Cadet organisation to give basic gliding training to air cadets. Nine Volunteer Gliding Squadrons operate the type at locations around the UK, training air cadets to a standard sufficient for them to fly solo.
