WIOA includes five titles: Workforce Development Activities (Title I), Adult Education and Literacy (Title II), Amendments to the Wagner-Peyser Act (Title III), Amendments to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Title IV), and General Provisions (Title V).

Who is eligible to receive services under the WIOA program? Adults: individuals over 18 years of age. Dislocated workers: individuals who become unemployed through no fault of their own and displaced homemakers.

Adults are individuals age 18 and older who may be eligible based on family size and income.

WIA requires that these data and performance measures be calculated using Unemployment Insurance (UI) wage records. WIOA establishes common performance measures across the four core programs (Titles 1-4) and also requires other programs authorized by the Act to report on the same indicators.

What does WIOA do for people with disabilities? In general, WIOA focuses vocational rehabilita- tion outcomes on competitive integrated em- ployment and promotes greater emphasis on transition services for youth with disabilities.

To be eligible, an individual must have lived in Tennessee at least one year, not already hold an associate or bachelor's degree, and be determined as an independent student on the FAFSA.

WIOA training funds are designed to serve dislocated workers, adults, and youth who are in need of training to enter or re-enter the labor market.

To find a location, search your city or ZIP code on the Illinois workNet Service Finder. If you are interested in becoming a WIOA Eligible Training Provider, please refer to these instructions.
