For tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2020 but before January 1, 2021, the tax rate is 4.55%. For tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2021 but before January 1, 2022, the tax rate is 4.5%. The requirement to make estimated tax payments does not apply for tax years beginning prior to January 1, 2023.
