How to fill out the Knauf Interhome online
This guide provides clear instructions on how to fill out the Knauf Interhome form online. By following these steps, you can ensure that you complete the necessary checklist accurately and efficiently.
Follow the steps to complete the checklist effectively.
- Press the ‘Get Form’ button to obtain the checklist and open it in your digital editor.
- Review the checklist items. Ensure that the first item indicates that there is a minimum 20mm gap between both frames and the ShaftLiner. Mark the checkbox once verified.
- Confirm that the stud frames or services attached to these frames do not touch the Central Fire Barrier, including the ShaftLiner, H-studs, J-Track, and 16mm FireShield. Mark the corresponding checkbox.
- Check that the J-track is fixed to the concrete slab using suitable fasteners every 600mm and 150mm from each end. Tick the box once confirmed.
- Ensure that any gaps between the J-track and concrete slab are wholly filled with fire sealant. Indicate that this has been done by checking the box.
- Verify that the ShaftLiner sheets are intact and not damaged. Mark the checkbox after confirming.
- Check that horizontal framing between ShaftLiner sheets consists of two J-tracks fixed back to back. Once verified, check the box.
- Ensure that J-track caps the ends of the ShaftLiner wall. Confirm and mark the checklist.
- Check that aluminium clips are within 600mm of the end of each H-stud and vertically separated by a maximum of 3000mm. Once confirmed, tick the box.
- Ensure that aluminium clips are located on both sides of each H-stud at all top plates and the top chord of the roof truss. Mark the box if this condition is met.
- Verify that 16mm FireShield is laminated at 400mm centres to the ShaftLiner in the roof space and at the floor levels. Indicate this by checking the box.
- Confirm that mineral wool is installed over the top of the InterHome wall and between the brick or cladding. Mark accordingly.
- Check that no penetrations are made in the ShaftLiner except in the roof space and beneath the floor, and ensure they comply with a fire-rated detail. Confirm and check the box.
- Finally, ensure the Central Fire Barrier is protected from adverse weather conditions. Once confirmed, check the box.
- Fill out the project name and address, as well as the installer and builder company names in the designated fields.
- Obtain the required signatures from both the builder and installer on the form, ensuring the date is included.
- After completing all sections and confirming accuracy, you can save your changes, download a copy, print it, or share the completed checklist.
