To measure progress in quality improvement, each program participating in Quality First is assessed and given a Quality First Star Rating, ranging from 1 to 5 stars.

You must be unemployed or underemployed and have low or very low income. You must also be one of the following: Have a child 18 years of age or younger, or. Be 18 years of age or younger and the head of your household.

Child care assistance is available for a parent with an income at or below 165% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) with children Birth through age 12 who is: Living in Arizona. Participating in an eligible activity. Teen parents enrolled in high school, GED, ESOL, or remedial education programs.
