Vehicle owners can transfer ownership of a vehicle with the DMV Supplemental Assignment of Ownership form (Form Q-1) and/or the vehicle bill of sale. The Q-1 form is available at your local CT DMV office.

To transfer a vehicle between family members, submit the following: The California Certificate of Title properly signed or endorsed on line 1 by the registered owner(s) shown on the title. Complete the new owner information on the back of the title and sign it.

Florida Registration: Submit photocopy of current registration to be transferred. Form 82050 Proof of Disposal of vehicle to which tag was previously registered must be submitted. If the vehicle has not been sold, parked or otherwise disposed of, the $225.00 Initial Registration Fee may apply.
