Release quarantined email On the Email tab: Select Release. In the details flyout of the selected message: Select Release email.

The user can go to quarantine in the Microsoft 365 Defender portal and select Filter to filter the results by Recipient address (the email address of the shared mailbox). By default, phishing, spam and bulk email messages are directed to your Junk Email folder, which is a good reason to review this folder daily. Sometimes junk mail goes into a Quarantine state because the message is potentially dangerous. These types of emails are "Quarantined" as a precaution.
