The C&G 2365 level 3 is the industry recognised route for Electricians looking to achieve that next level of electrical knowledge and skills, providing an advanced understanding of electrical science, inspection & testing procedures, fault diagnosis and rectification and installation design.

The NVQ 2346-03 in Electrical Installation replaces the previous NVQ 2356-99 as the Experienced Worker Route to the Level 3 qualification – and ECS Gold Card eligibility. There are six Level 3 Performance Units to be assessed before you can gain the Experienced Worker qualification.

City & Guilds NVQ 2356-99 Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services – Experienced Worker. Also known as the “Mature Candidate Assessment”, this qualification was designed solely for experienced persons who have worked in the electrotechnical industry as a practising electrician for a minimum of 5 years.

Level 3 NVQ Diploma In Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment. This qualification is a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) and is part of the Apprenticeship framework developed by SummitSkills. NVQs encourage an employee to value their contribution to the workplace and develop their skills and potential.

NVQ 2346-03 Performance Units Apply Design and Installation Practices and Procedures. Terminate and Connect Conductors. Inspect, Test and Commission Electrical Systems. Apply Fault Diagnosis and Rectification.

The level 3 NVQ Electrical (2357-44) is for electrical improvers who have previously completed their level 2 and 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365) or equivalent older qualifications and are now in their final stages of becoming a qualified Electrician.

You will learn a range of practical skills including; Health and Safety legislation, Environmental legislation, Installation Practices and Procedures Electrical Scientific Principles, Inspection and Testing, Fault Finding and Diagnosis, Design and Installation.
