Go to .pulseportal.com and select "Minnesota Department of Commerce" as the “Program” and "Real Estate" as the “Board.” Under "License Renewals," click on "Renew Brokers, Salespeople and Companies" (the renewal must be completed by the Primary Broker).

Once registered, you will complete a license reinstatement request and a licensing member will contact you within 7-10 business days with reinstatement requirements. An expired firm which has been expired for more than 60 days, the firm will be required to place a new application with the Real Estate Commission.

The continuing education MUST be completed BEFORE renewing your real estate license to active, current status (NO EXCEPTIONS). The twelve (12) hour requirement is for each license term (a license is good for two years).

FORM: Complete Form 580 for the renewal of a real estate license, property manager permit, or business broker permit. Renewals may be submitted 45 days or less in advance of the renewal date.

You can renew your license up to 2 years after expiration. If your license has been expired more than 2 years, you will be required to take the learner's permit exam and road test.

You can renew your license by taking your CE classes and paying a fee to the Board. The State of Massachusetts allows you to reactivate your license after attending 12 hours of continuing education at an authorized real estate school.
