In CPE you join other women and men who are currently in ministry or are preparing for it.

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) is an interfaith method of theological education through which a student exercises and learns pastoral skills within a context of responsible relationships to people and under the direct supervision of a certified pastoral supervisor.

The program is accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), making it one of some 350 ACPE‐accredited CPE centers in the United States.

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) began in 1925 as a form of theological education that takes place not exclusively in academic classrooms, but also in clinical settings where ministry is being practiced.

These are terms used by ACPE, Inc. Level I CPE is a beginning level, with basic learning objectives. Level II CPE follows Level I and is a more advanced level of educational objectives and outcomes. A student must complete Level I objectives and outcomes before advancing to Level II.
