Means a form of pension that pays a pension on retirement to the member or member-owner for his or her lifetime and, after death, to the spouse or common-law partner for his or her lifetime.

This form must be completed when a spouse or common-law partner wishes to waive his or her entitlement to survivor or death benefit payable from: a pension plan, • Locked-In Retirement Account (LIRA), or • Life Income Fund (LIF).

A tenant on a month-to-month tenancy agreement, must give the landlord at least one rental payment period notice to end a tenancy. The tenant must give the landlord the notice on the last day of the rental payment period to move out on the last day of the following period.

Form 8 - Notice of Termination by Landlord for Non-Payment of Rent (For all residential tenancies, other than tenancies that include tenant services or tenancies respecting a mobile home, mobile home site or both) A landlord must use this form if they are ending a tenancy for non-payment of rent.

If you're married and name someone other than your spouse as your beneficiary, or you elect any option other than the 100% survivor option, your spouse must waive their right to your pension by signing the Pension Election and Spousal Waiver (R0869G) form in the presence of a notary public.

Your spouse can choose to give up their right to your pension benefit by signing a waiver. They can either give up their right to your pension benefit completely, or they can choose to reduce the amount of your pension benefit they will receive when you die.

To waive the minimum benefit requirement, your spouse/common-law partner must complete a Waiver of 60% Joint Survivor Pension form and submit it to HEB Manitoba when you apply for your pension. This form must be submitted within 60 days of your pension benefit start date.

If death is before retirement, the spouse usually is eligible for an annuity if the employee had sufficient age and service to qualify for early retirement benefits; the size of the annuity depends on the pension the worker would have received if he or she had opted for early retirement.
