A Reflection Sheet is a very effective tool to use when a student is displaying unacceptable behaviors and can be used in conjunction with the Class Rules. The sheets can be used to help correct undesired behaviors.

Reflective language uses simple tentative statements that articulate what you observe, what may be going on for a child and how they may be feeling. For example, “I can see you looking out of the window, I wonder if you are not sure what to do next, perhaps it would help if I explained it again.”

The ultimate goal of behavior reflection sheets is to teach students how to think about and, eventually, regulate their own behavior.

A form is an educational stage, class, or grouping of pupils in a school. The term is used predominantly in the United Kingdom, although some schools, mostly private, in other countries also use the title.

These Reflective Questions prompt the student to think about what they are learning, why they are learning, and how they can improve the overall process. The student answers the first question regarding what they have been learning and then selects a sample of other questions to prompt reflection.

The Behavior Reflection Think Sheet promotes self reflection and self regulation of choices, behaviors and feelings. It can be used with other classroom management programs, behavior management for students, restorative practice programs or in calm down areas.

Behavior reflections, one positive verbal strategy to use with children, are nonjudgmental statements made to children regarding some aspect of their behavior or person. This may include: Show interest. Provide narration.

When you complete this project, reflect on the process by answering the statements below: What I did: (explain what you or your group did to finish your project.) What I found difficult: (write about any part of the project you found hard to do.) What really worked: (write about any part that you thought worked well).
