Once you are logged into your portal, select the MENU icon on the top left. Under the Quick Links icon, select the My Education link. Under My Education you will select Request Official Transcript.

At years' end everybody is swamped with transcript and record requests. So it can take longer than usual. Keep in mind, the hold up isn't just necessarily on the part of the sender of these records. It could be the recipient as well, that is taking more time to process their mail and record the receipt of them.

The Application Process Unlike other institutions, there's no fee to apply to Walden. To start your application, you just need to fill in some basic information and create your account. Once your account is set up, your Enrollment Specialist will be in touch to answer any questions you may have.

It depends how far your school is from your prospective institution and how they are able to receive it. If the school accepts electronic transcripts, it may take 24 to 48 hours. If a hard copy is required, it can take a few days to be received. If the schools are on each coast, it could take over a week.

Official paper transcripts are sent in a sealed, signature-stamped envelope. An electronic transcript is considered OFFICIAL if the intended party is the direct email recipient. If emailed to the requestor, then forwarded, it is then considered UNOFFICIAL.

If electronic delivery is available, have your transcripts sent to electronictranscripts @ mail.waldenu.edu. Otherwise, have them mailed to our Office of Admissions. In some cases, Walden can request transcripts on your behalf.
