Permits to Sell Alcoholic Beverages at a Restaurant/Night Club in Ohio Permit ClassPermit FeeD3$750D3X$300D3A$938D5$2,3445 more rows

Ohio, D-2 Liquor & Wine (On & Off-Premise Liquor License) OH - D-2 liquor license permits authorize the sale of wine and prepared cocktails of less than 24% alcohol by volume for on and off-premise consumption for a restaurant, bar, or other on-premise establishments.

No permit is required when an individual or organization intends to provide beer, wine, mixed beverages or spirituous liquor at a private function where access is restricted to invited guests, such as a wedding reception, for which no admission fee is charged nor any alcoholic beverages are sold.

D3 – D3 permit holders must own either a restaurant or a nightclub. This permit allows for the sale of “spirituous liquor” only for on-site consumption and only until 1 am. “Spirituous liquor” is a tricky term. It basically refers to any alcohol that's inflammable and distilled.

D-6 permits allow for sales of alcohol between certain hours depending on your existing permit types. D-6 permits can also be subject to quota and wet/dry status.
