Instructions The Salary Reduction Agreement (SRA) is to be used to establish, change, or cancel salary reductions withheld from your paycheck and contributed to the 403(b) or 457(b) plan on your behalf. The SRA is also used to change the investment providers that receive your contributions.

A 403(b) plan (also called a tax-sheltered annuity or TSA plan) is a retirement plan offered by public schools and certain 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations. Employees save for retirement by contributing to individual accounts. Employers can also contribute to employees' accounts. Choose a 403(b) Plan.

Total Withdrawal: You may withdraw your entire account balance and pay regular income taxes on the distribution. Declining Balance Withdrawal: You can choose to have your account balance paid to you over a specific period of time. You must be under 72 to select this option.

If you switch jobs, you can also roll over your 403(b) savings into certain other employer-sponsored retirement plans that your new job may offer. For instance, if you take a new job with a traditional 401(k) plan, you can roll over your old traditional 403(b) savings into the new 401(k).

A 403(b) plan may allow: Elective deferrals - employee contributions made under a salary reduction agreement. The agreement allows an employer to withhold money from an employee's salary and deposit it into a 403(b) account.
