A: A PASRR Level II needs to be done if the individual has a NCD and a serious mental illness, Intellectual Disability, and/or Other Related Condition that would meet the criteria to have a PASRR Level II done.

Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) is a federal requirement to help ensure that individuals are not inappropriately placed in nursing homes for long term care.
