USC deferred basically every single person who applied for early action this year. I wanted to ask if I still had any chance of being admitted or if should I look at attending another school I've already been accepted to.

How do I defer my graduate admission if I am unable to attend USC for the term to which I was admitted? You can request a deferral to a term up to one year in the future from your original date of admission. Commitment Deadlines: First-Year Students: May 1. Transfer students: June 1 (or within two weeks of receiving your admission letter). If you are studying in your first semester at UniSC and the Census date for your study period has not yet passed, you may be able to defer your program. A deferral may be requested within one year of the original semester of application. Each school has different policies regarding deferrals. USC only accepts an EA Deferral Form and mid-year transcripts from deferred students. When a college defers an applicant, it means they want to review the application again during the Regular Decision pool. USC does not offer deferments in the traditional sense of the term.
