The Electronic Personnel Action Form (EPAF) is an important online tool used for submitting changes in employment data. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help users easily navigate and complete the EPAF efficiently.

Follow the steps to fill out the EPAF accurately.

1. Click 'Get Form' button to access the EPAF and open it in your editing platform.
2. Sign in to your account using your ODIN information. Then, select the Employee Services tab to view the EPAF link.
3. Choose the appropriate EPAF action based on your role (Originator, Approver, or Proxy) to proceed.
4. For originating a new EPAF, select 'New EPAF' and input the employee’s PSU ID into the ID field, or use the search icon if the ID is not known.
5. Set the effective date, which should reflect the actual date of the action, updating the default if necessary.
6. Select the correct Approval Category pertaining to the action you are initiating and click 'Go' to proceed.
7. If rehiring, select the prior position from the list, or enter a new position number and suffix if applicable, then click 'Go'.
8. Review the settings and ensure all necessary fields, such as the contract type and effective date, are configured correctly.
9. Complete the Routing Queue by selecting appropriate approvers for each level, ensuring all approval levels have a User Name filled in.
10. Click 'Save' then 'Submit' to route the EPAF for approvals. You will receive a confirmation that the EPAF is pending approvals.
11. At any point, you can save the form, download, print, or share it as needed to complete your documentation process.
