Fill March Past Judging Criteria
March Past begins promptly at 8.30 a. (a) Three judges shall be appointed and designated A, B and C and shall assume the judging positions as detailed in the diagram. Appearance, Orderly marching, walking; Appropriate attire (uniform, Irish, etc.). Judging will be based primarily on the uniformity of the team action as well as the general techniques outlined below. 1. NB Clubs are asked to have at least 2 judges to judge the March Past, 3 if possible. CLUB. If there are three judges, they are often in the following configuration: Marching-30 points, Music-40 points, General Effect-30 points. Music Performance scores are averaged for a total of 20 possible points. Visual Performance scores are averaged for another 20 possible points. It combines swimming, resuscitation skills, marching and drill with teams judged against set criteria. Queens wearing such attire would not be judged. 7.
