Any outstanding balance must be paid in full before switching carriers. How much you owe depends on a number of factors including payments left on devices, current account balance, billing promotions, and trade-in value of phones you may be willing to sell to the carrier.

Failure to pay your phone contract will put you into debt. This will negatively affect your credit score, which can prevent you from taking out a credit card, loan or mortgage for the next 6 years. Failure to pay may also see your debt passed onto a debt collection agency.

Mobile Carrier Freedom. Bring your eligible phone with you and we'll reimburse your remaining phone payment balance when you switch from select carriers (including Verizon and A&) to Mobile ? up to $800/line (up to 5 lines) via virtual prepaid card.

If you decide not to keep the phone, you must turn it in at a T-Mobile store. When you return a leased phone, it must be in good working condition.

Nonpayment suspensions Anytime your account is past due, your service may be partially suspended. If the balance on your account remains unpaid, a full suspension may occur. A $20 account restoration fee will be charged per line plus taxes, due at time of restoration, if your account is partially or fully suspended.

The phone you were leasing must be returned in good working condition and undamaged.

Mobile retail location Mobile will gladly assist you with your return. You can return or exchange a Device or accessory (?Device?) for a refund within 14 days of the purchase or lease date of the original Device.
