Tag Payment Notice For Free

TxTag customers can check their account balance and transactions online or by phone at any time and there is never a service fee for using a tag. It's easy and takes only a few minutes to open a TxTag account online at TxTag.org or by calling 1-888-468-9824.

How do you get a TxTag? You can get one by signing up online (TxTag says it will take 3-4 days to get one), by calling 1-888-468-9824 or you can download and print the application for a TxTag.

If you have an account with FasTrak, your account will be charged. If you do not have an account, a toll invoice will be mailed to the address registered with your license plate. Express lane users without a FasTrak or License Plate Account will receive a toll evasion notice with associated penalties.

The registered owner will receive a violation notice in the mail (usually within two weeks). Each violation transaction is assessed a $57.50 penalty in addition to the toll amount due. If the registered owner has no previous violations, the penalties will be waived. This is a courtesy for first time violators only.

You can check your account balance any time by logging into your online FasTrak account or by calling the FasTrak Customer Service Center.

If you do not have a tag, you can still use the TEXpress Lanes and will be charged a photograph of your vehicle license plate made by video cameras. The North Texas Tollway Authority processes tolls on the TEXpress Lanes and will mail you a ZipCash bill for your trip.

If a valid FasTrak toll tag is not detected, an image of the vehicle license plate will be used to send a violation notice to the vehiclea??s registered owner through the mail. The notice will include the toll amount plus a penalty for using the express lane without a valid FasTrak toll tag.
