If you're not aware, a style formula is simply when you follow a way of dressing and putting outfits together.

What is the 2 by 2 or 2×2 outfit formula? It's simply wearing two casual clothing pieces with two more elevated or dressier pieces in the same outfit. This formula gives you that desirable juxtaposition that creates interest, but it also keeps the look balanced.

Color Selection The most common two rules are: Choose no more than 3 colors (not including white, grey, and black) ? Balance with 60% primary color, 30% secondary, 10% tertiary.

This idea can be translated to the relatable cohesion of planning a wardrobe outfit: 60 percent is the main outfit color, 30 percent provides visual interest like shoes, neck tie or handbag, 10 percent like the jewelry that provides the sparkling details.

The classic contrast combination includes shades of red with green, blue with orange, purple with yellow, and white with black. Such combinations look very bright, so when you create contrasting looks, one color must be the main one, and the other is complementary, in a proportion of 70% to 30%.
