Open the PDF file that you will use the form for. From the Forms menu, select Add or Edit Fields... Click Text Field Tool. Position the cursor where you want the text field to begin. Click and drag the mouse until the text field reaches the desired size. Release the mouse button.

To save the completed form, choose File > Save As and rename the file. To remove extended Reader features, choose File > Save A Copy. To allow Reader users to save the data they typed, choose File > Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (Includes Form Fill-in & Save).

The file properties for a PDF (Portable Document Format) file type include details such as its name, size, folder path, owner, the date and time it was last modified and the date and time of its creation. If you want to change the created date on a PDF, you can do so with the "Remove Properties" feature.

In edit mode, right-click on the date field, select Properties, and then the "Format" tab. Then select from the pulldown menu that is right below the tab select "Date" and then "Custom".

First, right-click anywhere in the PDF and select Document Properties. Then check the details on the Description tab. In this example, the full title was listed (1), along with the correct authoring body at the time the document was created (2), and the date it was created (3).
