Making a field required in Adobe Acrobat Open the necessary PDF form, choose Forms & Signatures > Prepare Form. Select the field that needs to be required, right click on it and choose Set as a Required Field: Save changes.

Informally, a required field is an input field on a form that must have a non-blank value to be valid. Conventionally, many flow action forms mark a required field with an orange asterisk ( ).

Required fields should be indicated with either a symbol or text, not just color. When providing an indicator for a required field, it should be placed right before the form field. This allows a screen reader to read the indicator to a screen reader user right before the user activates the field.

Click on the gear icon then Setup > Object Manager. Choose the object > Fields & Relationships. Select the custom field that you will make required. Click on Edit and under General Options select Required. Click on Save.

Just need to go to Schema Builder and select the object. The list of fields can be scrolled through. The Required fields have a red mark on them. For example, 'Account Name' and 'Account Owner' as seen below.
