Diplomas. Graduation diplomas are mailed 3-6 weeks after the degree is conferred, provided the student's account balance is paid in full. For more information, please see the Diplomas page. Graduates will not receive their diploma during the commencement weekend.

When your degree is conferred, your official and unofficial transcript will show it. Look for a mark of ?awarded? or ?conferred.? At this point, and only this point, should you say that you have your degree. It's okay if your diploma is still in the mail. Your conferred degree means you ?have? your degree.

This means a diploma will be delivered within 3-6 weeks from the date of conferral. Diplomas are mailed to the address indicated on the degree completion application. If your address changes after submitting your degree completion application, please email diplomas@liberty.edu with your updated address.

Most undergraduates receive their diplomas 4-6 weeks after the official graduation date for the term and most graduates receive their diplomas 8-10 weeks after the official graduation date.

Diploma programs typically take 1-2 years to complete, and you earn a certificate after completing one particular course of study and upon passing the course's final exam. Diploma programs usually take less time and money than earning a degree.

The final transcript should show all work completed and the conferral date of the degree. This also serves as your degree confirmation. When you request a final transcript from your institution, verify that the transcript states the date that the degree was conferred or awarded.

Date conferred is the date you officially graduated from your degree program. Often times this is not the date of your graduation ceremony since your school needs to you met all of your requirements for your degree. You can find this date by looking up your official transcript.

Your degree is conferred: Once your final term grades are posted, your academic record will be evaluated and if all requirements are met, your degree will be conferred (awarded). Confirmation Email: Once your degree is conferred, you will receive a confirmation email from the Office of the Registrar.

Typically, it takes a few weeks to a couple of months for the institution to verify your academic records, finalize grades, and prepare the diploma for printing.

Your degree will be conferred no later than four weeks after the final degree requirement has been met and payment in full of a student's account balance has been received.
