Location Notification For Free

Your friend gets an alert after you set the notification. If you set a recurring notification, your friend must approve it before it's set.

First, open the Google Maps app on your iPhone or Android device and tap the profile icon in the search bar. Select "Location Sharing" from the menu. You'll see the list of people who are sharing their location with you at the bottom of the screen. Select the person that you would like to create alerts for.
