Add your digital ID to your phone with Google Wallet. Now you can add a digital state ID or driver's license to your Android phone. It's an easy, secure way to store and show your ID.

?On your Android device, open the Google Wallet app. Tap the Add to Wallet button. Tap ID Card and choose your state. Follow the onscreen instructions to scan the front and back of your license or ID.

To be able to add your license or ID to Apple Wallet, it will need to be issued from a participating state. In addition, you'll need: An iPhone 8 or later, or an Apple Watch Series 4 or later, with the latest version of iOS or WatchOS. Face ID or Touch ID turned on.

Select all of your documents you will upload to verify your identity. Next to each document: Select Choose Image to upload a document image from your device or photo library. You can also select Take Photo when prompted to use your device camera to submit a photo of your document.

The Google Pay app is now the Google Wallet app. This change is simplifies how you store and use cards and passes. Google Wallet is a secure and private digital wallet that gives you quick access to forms of payment, passes, tickets, keys, or IDs that you choose to store on it.

You can add cards, passes, tickets, keys, and IDs to Google Wallet: In the app. Online. In other apps with the ?Add to Google Wallet? option.

Add your driver's license or state ID card to your iPhone and Apple Watch On your iPhone, open the Wallet app. Tap the Add button . Tap Driver's License or State ID and choose your state. Choose whether you want to add your license or ID to your iPhone only or to both your iPhone and paired Apple Watch.
