The general rule of writing is: tell'em what you are going to tell'em; then tell'em; finally tell'em what you told them. In PRL this means that within the first three paragraphs you must present, as specifically as possible, the basic results of your work.

Physical Review Letters publishes Letters of not more than four journal pages and Comments of not more than one journal page. Both must meet specific standards for substance and presenta- tion, as judged by rigorous refereeing and editorial review. The Physical Review and Physical Review Letters publish new results.

ORIGINAL ARTICLES: Full-length articles describe a full account about hypothesis-based research or theory in nanopharmaceutics and nanopharmacology. Length should not exceed 5,000 words (including body text and figure legends), and the article should have no more than 8 figures in the main article.

Article Types. PRL publishes Letters, Comments, and Errata. The scientific content of all sections of the Journal is judged by the same criteria. The sections are distinguished by the different purposes for which the papers are intended.

Papers should be written in scientific English, in a style consistent with that of the journal. The body of a Letter should not exceed 3750 words, about 4 pages, and a Comment should not exceed 750 words, about 1 page.

Original articles are full-length reports of original research. Original articles must be no longer than 4,000 words (excluding references, table, figure legends).

Designate references and footnotes in the text with inline numerals in square brackets. The full author list of cited papers should be given in the references, except when the number exceeds 10 (for Physical Review Physics Education Research the limit is 3).

Recommend length of articles should be approximately 8,000 words long (or within a range of 6,000-10,000 words), excluding references, giving sufficient space for a rigorous approach without superfluous material.
