On Windows, Google Chrome's bookmarks are stored in C:\Users\(YourUserName)\Local\Google\User Data\Default in the "bookmarks" file. On Macs, Google Chrome stores its bookmarks in /Users/(YourUserName)/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default.

Chrome Bookmark Manager does allow users to sort bookmarks by name, but it only allows you to do this for one folder at a time. Chrome Bookmarks Sorter is a handy tool (for Windows) which will allow users to sort bookmarks recursively by name or date added through all of your bookmark folders.

Chrome uses a modified form of the Windows Time format (?Windows epoch?) for its timestamps, both in the Bookmarks file and the history files. The Windows Time format is the number of 100ns-es since January 1, 1601. The Chrome format is the number of microseconds since the same date, and thus 1/10 as large.

At the top right, click More . Click Bookmarks. Bookmark manager. On the left, you'll see folders with all your bookmarks.

Organize your bookmarks On your computer, open Chrome. At the top right, click More Bookmarks. Bookmark Manager. Drag a bookmark up or down, or drag a bookmark into a folder on the left. You can also copy and paste your bookmarks in the order you want.

One can see this setting (using Adobe Acrobat) by ?right-clicking? on a single bookmark and selecting ?Properties?. Click on the ?Actions? tab and you can then see the customized/specific zoom level for that specific bookmark. Clicking the ?Edit? button allows the PDF document creator to select a different zoom level.

Hovering over a bookmark will show the exact date and time it was added.
