Fit Text For Free

Using the fit-content value, the width of a div element can be set to fit its content. The fit-content CSS property sets the width of an element to the minimum width of its content and allows the element to expand based on its parent container's width.

For fonts, setting font-size: 100% will make your text 100% of the base font size set in the browser. Most browsers default to a 16px base font size, so 100% of that would be 16px , and 50% would be 8px .

Right-click the shape that contains the text that does not fit. On the shortcut menu, click Format AutoShape. In the Format AutoShape dialog, click the Text Box tab. Under Text autofitting, select the option you want.

To make a font automatically resize in CSS, you can use the vw (viewport width) unit in the font-size property of an element. The vw unit is equal to 1% of the width of the viewport, so a value of 10vw would mean that the font size would be 10% of the width of the viewport.
