Select Home > Show/Hide . This will display non-printing characters?paragraph markers, section breaks, page breaks, etc. ?that you may want to see while you're working on your document. Double-click the page break so that it's selected, and then press Delete.

You can use any other format instead. Select between the intro and the body of the document and go to Layout > Breaks > Next Page. In the header for the body section, deselect Link to Previous.Go to Header & Footer > Page Number, and then click Page Number. Choose the position and alignment of page numbers.

You cannot delete manual page breaks when Track Changes is turned on. To turn off Track Changes: Go to the Review tab in the Ribbon. Click Track Changes > Track Changes in the Tracking group.

A page break is a special marker that will end the current page and start a new one. Click to place your cursor where you want to start a new page. Click the Insert tab. If necessary, expand the Pages group by clicking it. Click the Page Break button.

Double-click the page break so that it's selected, and then press Delete.
